Check the sticky for all the CL Certified events. All other events not listed are not a Cl member organized activity, but members do attend non-ceetified meets.
We've been going to WEKFEST for several years now. Do a search for event history w/pics. NorCal members alone probably took home 25 trophies in the past 4 years.

i don't like looking through a bunch of links/threads to find my answer, so here's my suggestions from experience with a tight budget:
exact motorsports (milpitas, ca): 5k regular check ups and major 30/60/90k checks. they also install parts and stuff at a good rate.
apex autobody (san jose, ca): body work, kits
garage inc. (burlingame, ca): paint/powdercoat wheels
tire outlet (san jose, ca): alignments
welcome to norcal
