Haha I really need a clutch if I'm going to power shift! Besides...I need to sell my 5 speed, so I don't wanna ruin my synchros!
the purpose of power shifting (full-throttle shifting, flat-shifting, or speed shifting whatever you call it ) is so you dont have to use a clutch. Before i could afford fixing my cars, I'd drive without a clutch for weeks If done right, synchro's will not be harmed Thats why truckers do it all the time, to save everything

I know what you're referring to, but I don't think any of those terms really apply to the process of rev matching to slide in and out of the gears without using the clutch. I can't think of the right term right now either. Either way, I'd only do that if the clutch completely blew out and I needed to limp the car home...not to go to a meet lol!

Nate, Tom and the 916 Caravan usually cruise 99 south. So it makes sense to merge at Hammer Ln. and 99 on ramp. I-5 would be on the other side of town.
