My previous IS had 70% up front and every time i saw a cop it was a mad dash to roll the windows down. LOL. I was paranoid with that light of tint i could only imagine with 20 or 30%

When it comes to tints i have 35% in the front and i have a real carefree attitude when it comes to cops. If they see you pull your windows down their more likely to give you a tix. So just ride confidently and most of the time your fine. Although a couple months ago my mom was given a tint citation while she was out driving my car. I thought it was funny since i've never gotten pulled over. I fought the tix. because it came addressed to me and now I'm just waiting for my refund in the mail. I had to pay $194 because i was contesting the tix. by mail.

On my old SC300 my fronts were 20%; got a warning once and a ticket on another occasion.

My G35 right now has 40% in the fronts, my IS 50% - I never roll my windows down when I see cops and I never get hassled for them.

my DD pickup is 5% rear and 30% in front no harassment yet. usually keep them cracked open.. I just tell em I got sensitive skin ha..
