According to wikipedia, the letter U is a fairly recent addition to our alphabet. Prior to this, words were written with only the letter V for both the consonant and vowel "form" of V.

interesting... I've always wondered about that as I've seen building spelled with the letter 'v' in the past

Two to add:

1) Apparently those lines mean nothing to this car. And yes, that's my car next to it

2) One of the reasons I hate the 'burbs: people don't know how to efficiently parallel park! I deal with this every time I go to the gym! Arggg

Hahaha, that's because I don't consider properly modded Miatas fails! I'm assuming that must be you, I'm up the block with the Tahoe on rims, and black is250. That camaro is sick just couldn't figure out the window paper, figured mid paint.
