i FAIL... got my car towed from my house last night for violating the community guest parking rules.. been rearranging my garage for the past week and parked my car outside in guest parking (maximum 3 consecutive days).. got a warning the night before but didnt really believe HOA was gonna enforce it, but since my car was parallel parked i thought i was smart by boxing it in with my other car... tow company had GoJacks and slid my car out and dolly towed it away... FAIL... there goes $235 for nothing.. gotta go pick it up in a few hours..

@ISCJonny,

Ouch... I guess never under-estimate the tow company.

You can always park in our community. Our HOA is useless at enforcing any policies. The guest parking has become residential parking... and guests can no longer park in our community because home owners converted their garage into rec area and parked their cars in the guest parking. To date, nobody got towed or fined for violating parking rules. I guess we can call that HOA Fail.

I saw this on my way out from De Anza. When I came to class, the driver was still in the car, on the phone and the car was completely on top of the center divide. As I left, they were just towing it out. The driver didn't eat just half the curb, but the ENTIRE width of the curb...

LOL.... you gotta be careful in Downtown SJ... that happens a lot if you are new to the area and not pay attention. There are signs that says this is not a street. I guess he/she did not catch it.
