I bought the **** from the dealer. Can't super glue it. I took it to the dealer (that pic was taken at the dealership) and asked them if they've seen this before. They tried to push it back in. One guy even started to bash it into the counter!! I had to ask him to "Please don't do that..." But it wouldn't budge. The insides of it are all pushed up. The guy said that the only thing he can think of, is that whoever installed it, screwed it in to far. I told him that when I bought all the F sport stuff, I told them to just install everything, including this.
So if it was screwed in too far, it wasn't by me. But I don't have proof of that.

^^^ can you still get warranty off that... usually manufacture warranty offer 1 year. If you bought with credit card, some of them add additional 1 year warranty on top of that. I think AA adds 2 year on top of manufacture warranty.
Damn... that sux. I would think F-sport would hold up better. I would be pissed if I had to remove one of my mods from my signature. If the dealer installed the shift ****, there should be a line item listed on the work order. Us that to hold someone's feet to the fire.

Yes Shadowman, it was installed by the dealer but it still is one year unless it was installed before delivery.
Anyway, I looked INTO the gap and that yellow stuff is the stretched glue. I did not see anything pushing it up at all. But the CF is kind of thick, it's not a veneer... it's about 1/8 thick of carbon fiber. I saw the threads pattern. I think that's why it was so hard to try to push back.
Anyway, here a NON FAIL:
I got a call yesterday and the guy that was waiting on me went and talked to the manager. I guess the people who made this want to know what caused it and they want it back to tear it apart and check it out.
So they told me to come in. They are sending the one on the left back to the company.
Pretty nice of them to do this, that's for sure!

No this isn't really a fail, just that it's unusual. Normally you see 11-99 Foundation license frames on exotics or desirable rides, first time I've seen one on a minivan (sorry photo is hard to see but the sun was shining at that angle). But I'm envious though, wish I had that frame...to go with my dream ride - an LFA.
