ride was kinda rough since I'm running rubber bands for tires.. but other than that... not bad, pretty smooth... I've been in evo's going 130+ and everything shakes... kinda scary at that speeds

Oh man, I feel your pain KC. I'd hate to have some part get messed up like that on my car. 130mph is fast, but the F can handle more. If you are thinking about putting that thing back on, try polyurethane glue. It's a bit on the permanent side, but I'm sure it won't happen again.

sorry to bump an old thread, but I'll be having a Lexon CF front lip installed in a few weeks and don't want to replicate the OP's experience.... I have a clear bra on the front bumper... will this change what I should do? from the OP's posts, did he use a 3M product that is different from the "automotive" 3M tape???? can/should I glue the lip to my bumper (that has the clear bra on it) as someone else suggested above? (I do track the car and routinely drive 120-130mp on the highway with DD) I'd also like to top the car out some day (170mph +) at the texas mile or something similiar.....

^ i attached the lip over the clear bra... thats why it didnt hold.. plus i didnt clean the surface well enough...my suggestion (from experience) is to use something called 'adhesive primer' if u r going to attach it over the clear bra... clean VERY well with rubbing alcohol before using the primer... this is why I did after my unfortunate event..hasnt come off since.. hope this helps
