I was going to mention the same thing. Tape alone isn't going to bolt down securely especially at the higher speeds.

One of the factors could of been, was the area where the tape was going to stick on the body prepped? Was the tape heated up? If not, the tape would not bound as securely even thou it appears that it is.

I heard there which a CL member used an aftermarket tape which supposedly can hold up to 100lbs which was used for the rear bumper kit.

Still overall, is to use the screws and brackets.

so do you use the adhesive primer (which brand did you use) before using 3M automotive tape or some other product?

I used 3m primer before applying the tape.. just brush it on and let it dry... it's supposed to help the tape grab better on both surfaces.. so far it's working.. bought it off eBay for $10 if I remember correctly

lexuswtf..... thanks for the info! I'm waiting on the 3M 94 primer and this stuff: http://3mcollision.com/products/tape...ape-06390.html
before I attatch my Arkym rear diffuser.... It seems to me the other 3M tape that is available everywhere is not as strong as this stuff when I researched it on 3M's site.... Hopefully it will be strong enough to hold on my CF Lexon front lip as well...
