I had a great time...met some nice people and got a sunburn in the process.
My first BOS meet but definitely not my last.
If anybody has pics that includes my 2GS (only cinnabar pearl there), could you please share them with me.

I'm so sorry everyone that I couldn't make it. I stopped in Bakersfield to get gas and couldn't get the hybrid system booted up again.

It wasn't the 12v auxiliary battery, it wasn't the key fob, it wasn't the air suspension.

For some reason, my car wasn't detecting that I was pressing down the brake pedal and would not boot up in READY mode.

What a nightmare. I disconnected everything and still couldn't get the car booted up. Lexus wanted to tow my car to Lexus of Bakersfield, but since that city is so conservative and religious, nothing was open, not even a rental car place. No cab driver was willing to bring me home either. I decided to just have them tow back to my local Lexus dealership. I just didn't feel comfortable leaving a modded car in Bakersfield. I know nothing about their techs there. And it was 150 miles away from home too. AAA ended up charging me $6 per mile, but we finally got it home after 150 miles. Hopefully we can get this fixed soon. UGH. I had to leave the vehicle in front of the service dept. outside the gates since they were closed today too. I hope no one steals my car...

OUCH what da heck! Did you try removing the battery and re-booting the ECU afterwards? I hope that is not a common problem among CT's ~ wow you should have Lexus pay you back for that tow fee provided the error was their fault.

I was looking forward to seeing your CT, kinda disappointed to only see 1 other CT besides myself

Event was nice - I had to take off after a big and came back just in time for the raffle! Kudos to everyone who helped make the event a family affair, of course it helps its in my backyard

My favorite two cars are of course IS-F's!

Really feeling hyperISF (Cary's ride) in the showroom without all that green, so much nicer IMO!

Also this was my top choice for best of show, none of the crazy air ride stuff or alcohol bottles all over your dash look:

Doesn't best of show have to have work under the hood, sound system in the trunk, interior done, suspension work, body kit, wheels, etc.? No disrespect to the owner but this IS look plain if he was to park next to Mariano's black IS. My .02 cents...

Too bad this white one is not an IS. You are comparing apples and oranges.

I agree that there is beauty in simplicity when it comes to this model though. The car I'm interested in buying was two down from this one and was stock except for the exhaust. It has four true tips.

If you were to walk in to a dealer and wanted to buy this white car, do you say..."I want to buy this "F" or this "IS F"?

Because it has a "F" at the end doesn't mean it's no longer an IS.

I have a 460L...does this mean mine is no longer a LS? 600h is not an LS?

Oh my. You are quite challenging aren't you?

My point is that this is not a regular IS, which puts it in a different class. But if you want to argue about simple letters, I won't. We can call it what you want to, okay? You are right. I guess I can call my (hopefully soon) new ISF an IS. I'm sure it makes no difference when I bring it in for service or ask for parts.

But I will no longer argue with you or try to prove you wrong, that was not my intent. I was merely trying to clarify . But obviously an IS250 is the same as an ISF. Thanks for correcting me.

No, not challenging, just trying to understand your point of apple and oranges. Notice all the question marks in my previous post...I'm looking for clarification. Isn't IS250, IS350, IS F all in the same class? Anyways, I agree, let's put an end to this. Enjoy your (hopefully soon) new "F".

Mercedez make vans and buses, why can't Lexus.

Closest thing will probably be the Toyota Vellfire.
