We could be cool and watch the game at Hooters! LOL I've never been there, but it seems like a fun place to watch the game.
Currently, I'm undecided because a few of my friends are having game night/BBQ parties at their houses......Oh decisions decisions.
I'm just happy the weather's cleared up!

I'm leaning towards....kickback with friends....perhaps go to the frat super bowl mania. I always found their reactions hilarious. I mean even at cocktail parties, the guys are still watching the game! Guys and their sports = adorable.

Anyone is free to try and start their own meet, but if you don't have experience or the natural ability, it's a toss up whether people will come.
The veteran members here know how to organize, they have followers and they know how to make a meet successful.
Josh has been having meets every Friday for the past 2 Fridays in the South bay. I think I mentioned in the past thread post that we DO meet and the activities are not always posted.
The best way for you to get into that circle of friends is to attend the "CERTIFIED" meets.
There WILL be another certified meet posted very soon.
A general comment for all readers is that the event calendar is there for people to know in ADVANCE what the dates are so they can schedule their availability to make the certified events. Some of the bigger event dates are posted months in advance. We've heard all the noob excuses, why they can't make it. At the end of the day, we know people are busy and cannot attend everything. The NorCal Family is a tight knit group. Everyone is welcome to join, but first you should try to attend a certified meet.
Keep an eye out for an update to the calendar in the next week or so for another San Jose event and a thread announcement as well.

Probably should have started a meet before all of my events ended this weekend. LOL who doesn't love awesome parades and festivals?
Anyhow, I was thinking just a fun get together...like go kill sometime at Dave and Buster's or what not (perhaps I've been a little obsessed since my friends took me there last month).
Besides that, if you guys are interested in events that involve a lot of beauty queens, models, photographers/media, celebrities, and people in high status positions (yes, that means networking galore), I would be happy to set up an event. They'll be events for charity, so if you plan to attend keep an open-mind and an open-heart.
I've coordinated a 15,000 attendee convention, so I am pretty sure I can pull together something for under 100.
Be fun, live life, and smile!
P.S.: I've been invited to E3 and they are so generous that they are giving me an extra pass to bring a guest. I'll be offering this up for auction at my next event.

Sounds like you can certaintly bring in a new dimension to the club activities and that you can def put up an event and be good at it.
We are definitely looking for new event ideas and different interests.
Not everything has to be car centric, but admittedly as boring as it sounds, there is always a strong following of people who enjoy standing around in the parking lot keeping their hands warm in their pockets, so we obviously already have those type of activities "covered", but understand that this is where people talk and find common interests and from that, that's where that group will come up with their own "activity based" meet.
Thats pretty much that's how the current event organizers started with the club involvement, so def go for it.
