I'm new to CL. I live in san jose. Just wondering if any meets are around the corner or shows. Besides hot import nights which is may 30th I believe.

FB is the primary way we notify people in advance. If you are on hiatus, then you will need to check this forum at least twice a month.

Our last event was just a few weeks back, and prior to that we had two events with over 100 Lexus Only cars.

We don't have events all the time, so if you miss out by not checking on time, you may regret it.

Lastly, the certified events on the Facebook are those events that are member supported because the event holders have credibility with our community with a proven track record of hosting good events.

Some of the events that are posted on our forums, but not showing on our FB certified list, are coming from either those who have no notable previous contribution to our community, or are those with no previously demonstrated meet holding skills or are complete outsiders who have no record of participation in any of our meets.

Believe me when I say that this community is fairly tight knit, so we know who the active members are.
