Cars and Coffee San Francisco January 2017 anyone?
Any of you guys heading up to Cars and Coffee San Francisco this upcoming Saturday, the 21st? Event may be tentative due to the weather, though - awaiting announcement.

Pole Position
Went to the event. Very few Lexus vehicles. Easily 500-700 cars and they were still poring into the event at 10:00 am.... I left around 10 to avoid the massive exit.
Never saw so many Corvettes, Mustangs, and exotics in one place at one time..... On the way in from the freeway got intermixed with a group of GTRs and one McClaren 12C and they easily hit 90 mph in the Webster St. tunnel.... (I was left in the dust, of course). Lot of cars..... Not as well organized as the events our members put together but I heard to rent the Alameda Air Station space can run up to $5,000.
Good experience but not one I'd do too often.....

Nonetheless, I knew it would be hectic getting in, so I planned to arrive at 7:30 and did just that. Even so, there was already quite the line from both streets facing the unopened gate. Kinda odd it wasn't open until official call time: venue was always open earlier prior. The FaceBook discussion posts are trashing the organizers for such poor control of the event...yikes.
Really glad the event is back up and running again tho. Really can't beat having one of the biggest car events in the world nearby - I'll definitely be back.
