Any suggestions for a South Bay shop? or Should I just bring the car to Steven's Creek?

Sorry again Red.

I have no personal experiences with any SouthBay shop so I can't help you there. Have you had the resident guru (RMMGS4) check out the damage yet? I think he was also trying to find time to check out B&S up here in Pleasanton. Maybe you guys can coordinate that just to check them out.

Well it looks like we might swing a visit over to Neo's body shop this Friday on the way up to the Drags. It's on the way if we go up I5 through Pleasanton.

Leave SJ at 1pm, get to Pleasanton at 1:45, get quickie estimate and then head for SAC.

Neo is working the details with the bodyshop for an appointment that syncs w/our schedule.

I need a painting estimate for my "other" project too.

Stay Tuned

You will hear from me.

Heading up 680 should take you less time than 45 min. I'll call them to make sure the owner is around at that time.

I'm a B&S customer, twice over . They do good collision work. Maybe we can all stop over there together and pressure a good customer discount .

Thanks guys. Good news, though. I just spent the last two hours rubbing out the scrapes and waxing the rear quarter panel [the car is going to look funny tomorrow in the light]. After all the crap was removed and everything polished up [drum roll, please] there's NO panel damage and the paint damage is minimal. I have existing rock chips and paint scrapes that are nearly worse than the damage caused by this accident.

If you guys are gonna stop by the body shop I may just continue on alone since I have to head up to Roseville first to pick up a buddy. We can play it by ear...

that's good to hear! so you are still going to get the rear panel repainted?

The rear panel and bumper are not bad -- perhaps a little touch up is all that's needed.
