I was quoted $440 to replace my usb ports at the dealership- I bought a used 2019 Lexus NX 300 sport and turns out the usb ports do not work.. was wondering if anyone has ran into the same issue ? Or if it could be an easy fix ? Maybe a fuse

No way in the world would I pay $440 to fix that (unless it was a $200k vehicle) !

YES, you got the right idea. Find the fuse(s) that are applicable to those ports and put in new ones. Absolutely.

If that doesn't work, look around very closely for the wires/harness that leads to the ports. Make sure they are connected securely.

By the way, WHO wants $440 to fix it? A dealership is likely to charge more than a small time car audio place.

If you've only tried ONE device in the port(s), try another device. I'm sure they sell a device that would check for current in a USB port. Might be a decent tool to own.

See if it is possible that your console was removed/reinstalled. If there are signs of that, then it is quite likely they didn't plug the harness in tight enough.

The dual USB charge/data ports located in the console are powered by the audio head unit, and not separately fused.
By "not working", do you mean charging is OK, but no data transfer, or both charging and data transfer do not function?

Do you have a USB flash drive with an LED that lights when plugged in? This can be used to confirm 5V is not present at either port.
