Hello just wondered why nx is so loud I buy 6m ago 2019 used with 30202mil after one month I hange tires from Yokohama Geolander to GoodYear Maxi Life but noise is annoying then I hanged to Pirelli Scorpion car handle much better noise is almost the same, I spray rubber around fender but this nothing hange. This is normal or maybe some suspensions component is wear?. I have 18” rims I feel if you drive road where asphalt is not smooth just everything is transfer inside. Yesterday I drive Toyota raw4 2019 and road noise is like 10% less

Engine and wind noise is really good is quiet bud road noise big question.

it's normal for the 1st gen NX, especially pre-facelift. lexus made some changes to the facelift to address noise. but your year i think is the old one?

My 2019 look the same like 2020 and 2021 this is premium with 10” screen and many additions

I believe that in regards of NVH (noise, vibration and harshness), the NX-s from 2015 (first year production) through 2022 are all the same. I did not like road noise in my NX 2017 and compared to 2020 with no measurable difference. First generation NX was always “not quiet, not quite like Lexus” car. However, the second NX generation has major improvements in this, so it is quieter and suspension does not feel as “busy” as NX gen-1.

I check NX300 have a lot insulation I think gonna order sound deadening insulation and add on very need places. Fenders and where is spare tire.

I did similar way and I’m shock how different is, now I tell is Lexus Home Depot underfloor mat is better than special designed self adhesive mat.

Road noise is not caused by the car's suspension, it all depends and the noise will be presented doesn't matter what car you drive, I see everybody complaint about road noise in every car brand even EV cars, unless you drive $100k+ cars with AIR SUSPENSION setup otherwise everything makes noise. There are 3 factors !
1. Suspension setup and Tires brand !
2. Old and New Road ASPHALTS!
3. Aerodynamic and fuel economy!
They now have new asphalt in North America which is very quiet when driving, you sometimes notice that right?
If you want less or no noise, try Lexus RX350, LX or GX whichever costs more than $100k usd.
