My wife's '21 NX300 just threw this code out of nowhere today. She bought this car CPO with only 34,000 miles and she's had it for only 3 months, but now with 44,000 miles. The only service we've had on it was the scheduled maintenance, which was done at another Lexus dealership. The car went into limp mode and unfortunately, I had no choice but to drive it for about 1 hour (in limp mode) to get to the dealership, which is closed.
I left it in their parking lot and I'll give them a call tomorrow to have them look at it. Since this is a Lexus CPO, what are my options? Also, what are the chances there's a permanent damage to one or more components because of this code and/or because I drove it in limp mode for an hour?
Thanks in advance!

The vehicle should still be under the original power train warranty based on mileage and age, which is 70k miles or 6 years, whichever occurs first. So warranty coverage for the fix should not be an issue.
The only concern I would have is driving the car for a long period of time if the engine was actively misfiring (code P0302), which can accelerate the demise of the catalytic converter.

As for me driving it for about an hour after getting the code, I had no other choice and getting it towed, and on that 100*F-plus day, it was just better for me to drive it slowly with hazards on and leaving it at the dealership. If the catalytic converter is compromised or bound to fail sooner rather than later, what can I do about this? Is this something Lexus would cover as well?
Thanks again!

Typically, TSBs are only performed when the vehicle exhibits the symptoms described within the bulletin.
As for the catalytic converter, if it fails during the emissions warranty period, then it would be replaced free of charge. In other words, Toyota will not proactively replace it.
