Default Terrible power liftgate sound

Video attached. This sound has been getting worse and worse over the past couple of weeks. I took one strut off and tried to regrease the ball joints, no improvement. Is it time to replace these? Has anyone else had this issue?

Imgur video

Thanks

I've been living with that exact noise for years. Other than the noise, it functions fine.

Sounds like the hinges are binding up.

I suggest you wipe down the male part of the cylinders with spray silicone lubricant. (WD-40 silicone is one brand)
I spray it on a paper towel first to apply, so as not to get it on unwanted areas.
The sound at the end of your video sounds like the door seal gasket is squeaking or dry as it closes,
I'd wipe down the door seal gasket with silicone as well (.02 worth)

do you notice that it only does it when you park at an angle down. Mine doesn’t do it on flat ground

will try the seal lubricant. Already tried it on the male part of the cylinder and it oddly made it sound worse
