Thanks for the closeups Rogerh00. Really nice materials, detail, and fit/finish - well above the competition! ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I like the coin holder idea, but what's the silver square button do? Almost looks like you can press down on it, but that likely would not make sense mechanically if the strap is functional and to lift the cover...

I did a quick count from the Motor Trend SUV buyers guide and found 13 more including the RAV4, Lincoln MKC, Mazda CX-5 among others. It must be an industry trend.
I can't help but recall the cladding from the past on some vehicles but it was a lot more. Think of the Pontiac Aztec. It think it was to help prevent corrosion in the northern climes where they use a lot of road salt. Don't need it now where I'm at. I just hope these don't look like a typical tack on.

actually Henry/rominl already sat in one - CL website post and pictures about it details his opinions (good quality and feel)... and he is pretty level headed dude as well.

Although, quite possibly there will be same interface just different options - with enform/nav and without. Not sure.

Some of the higher quality pieces of plastic Lexus uses in parts of other Lexus models all here. Thus far I'm impressed

The only poor plastic I can find thus far is the plastic cover for the lower controls ie BSM, Trunk opener etc.. its the same waxy feeling one they use in the IS.
