Very exciting IMO as it seems the ML systems have a cult following here, and 14 speaker with 835 Watt is much more than I was even hoping for as an option.
Here's the link from Harman.com.

But "The 2015 Lexus NX equipped with the available Clari-Fi-enabled Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound Audio System is expected to launch in Asia and Europe later this year"
Sounds like The NX in the U.S. won't be getting ML sound system

The biggest problem with stereos in SUV's is bass, hopefully with that much power and that many speakers, that issue will be solved..

I am even MORE interested in this car now...!

Here is still MORE info on it:

I was a bit nervous about that too. Hopefully this was a simple omission by the author, and not a definitive list. If so, Lexus is clearly misjudging 'Murica and how it prefers large things in large quantity. In this case watts and noise.

With NX Turbo, it should be lighter, it should have D4-ST, plus new engine tech with atkinson cycle and other things detailed.

So, it could be quite good in real life.

Of course, even if it is great, it will get 7-8 mpg less than Hybrid in real life... which is really a lot. Cant argue with 25%-30% smaller fuel bills.
The turbo will also require much higher priced premium fuel where the hybrid will use regular.

And the Turbo should also be getting Start/Stop tech to further help MPGs...

Looks like no panoramic roof either. It's a 2015 model, right? :/

It is a 2015 model. Would the 2016 arrive around this time next year to replace it? April seems to be when all the car maker websites updated to the 2015s.

I didn't notice this before, but you can clearly see a standard sunroof in the released photos. It seems like pano is becoming a standard option in this segment so that's a bit disappointing if not offered.

My concern with buying a '15 is will the ' 16 have more options?
Just like the '14 GS has vs the' 13 GS.

sure... quite possibly... and plus, you will get a lot more discounts on those than 2015... Even more if you wait for 2017, before facelift comes.

But then, we would never buy anything :-)

Yeah, that was kinda my point. While other manufactures (like Mitsubishi...you know, a real luxury brand) already have had them for years, this 2015 Lexus still does not deliver.

I have a car with pano roof. It looks cool but with Texas heat, it is not recommended. I'd rather take a regular sunroof than pano anyday now. Maybe if I live in CA or east coast, I'll havw different story.

True to a point but the '14 GS has power fold in mirrors, trunk options and other items standard and the discounting is big too.

Refresh in 3rd year?
Maybe if Lexus is going to a 6 year generation but Lexus usually has a refresh in the 4th year like with the last gen ES.
