Hey guys,
My first post on here.
I was one of the victims of the VW TDI scandal and after 3-1/2 years and 40k miles, I sold it back to VW for what I paid for it minus $1000.
Since we already enjoy a 2015 BMW 435i convertible and a 2016 Lexus CT200H, we decided the 3rd vehicle should be a crossover. I thought we were leaning towards an X3 but we chose the NX mostly because the overall styling seems to far ahead of most of the competition. I won't debate performance and handling aspects because that's what I have the 435i for.
My goal was reliability, comfort, and style coupled with some luxury without the darn things being so big that it would feel like I am driving a Suburban.
2016 NX200t AWD, Obsidian Black, Rioja Red interior, F Sport, most of the gadgets including LED triple beams, premium package, nav, blind spot detection, sunroof, two tone wheels, all-weather cargo/floor mats.
I have perused most of the NX threads and a couple points comes to mind that folks have had trouble with.
1. The remote start feature of the fob works on my vehicle.
2. The Pandora enform app does not work, sometimes I get a tether error as well. I will deal with during the first oil change service. I will just use the standard Pandora app in the mean time. I suspect I need a software update but I think a car built in August of 2016 would have had the update by now.![Dunno](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/13879dunno.gif)
Looking forward to chatting with you all.
Cheers.

Hard to beat Obsidian, the blackest black on the road when clean!
Agree. Love this color combo, the Leather, and the Shimamoku wood!

I have a 2016 NX. Nebula Gray, standard pkg. Nuluxe (Texas Longhorn Burnt Orange) interior. I traded in for my 2011 RX, in Jan 2016. My RX felt like a truck; the NX feels like a car. I wanted that. I also love the NuLuxe interior. No cracks/wrinkles like the perforated leather in my RX. It's also temperature-friendly (my leather got too hot sitting in a parking lot in 100-degree weather, and it was freezing in the winter). NuLuxe stays truer to my body temperature.
Only downside it the horrible road noise. I hate that! I had an 2008 IS250, which I gave to my son when he graduated college, and my RX 350. Neither had this much road noise...heck, no other car I've owned had this much road noise. I am considering trading in for an ES 350. Did I mention that I love the NuLuxe? I will never buy another car with leather interior.
