Hello all, just joined this forum. My wife and I bought a 2015 NX300h from my grandpa who no longer drives. It currently has 45k miles on the ODO and is in really great shape overall. We've had the car for like a year but contemplated selling it due to the size and having a kid, but have since decided to keep it and make it work since its just a nice vehicle and we got it for the extreme family discounted price.
Here she is as she stands:
On the way right now are Lexus roof rack crossbars and a Thule rooftop cargo box to help lug all our stuff around on trips. I'll take some after photos with those installed.
Overall I really like this vehicle. Our other vehicle is a 2014 Tacoma and I am very active on Tacomaworld.com.
I don't really want to do any modifications to this car, except I wouldn't mind blacking out the chrome and maybe putting some more sporty Lexus wheels on it (like F-sport wheels or something).
It'll do just great.
We have crossbars and a Thule box on the NX as well to help us and our dogs get around, as the NX is (her) the daily and our summer cars just simply wouldn't do it.
I also ordered an OEM rear headrest. For some reason my grandpa must have gotten rid of the rear headrests as they were no where to be found when we bought the car. Now we'll have a way to attach a mirror so we can watch the baby while driving. Currently my wife sits in the backseat so she can keep an eye on her.
Updated photo from like a year ago but doesn't look any different.
We no longer need the rooftop cargo box as we purchased this beast from my parents like a year ago lol (very outdated in updating my status on this site!):
I'm a proud owner of 2022 NX350H F Sport for 2 and 1/3 years. So far, I've done almost 73,000km with overall fuel efficiency of 4.8L/100km. Driving mainly in city traffic with occasional highways. The Foxy is Sonic Chrome outside with Red/Black interior, 2WD with no extra options.
We also still have 2017 NX300H Luxury Sports AWD. Owning that car from Sep-2019, done in it 81,000km (with 101,500 on the speedo) but fuel efficiency is only 6.6L/100km (old technology). The Lexy is Titanium outside with a complete Beige interior, AWD, sunroof, "top of the range".
