It's the Heads Up Display. You can see the output on the windshield. For MY 2015, it's not available in the US.

I'm not the person you asked (above), but I remembered reading about changing the display in the manual so I just looked it up. The instructions are on pages 69, 70 and 71 of the Navigation System Owner's Manual. You have to follow all the details or the images won't upload (such as making sure they are in a folder on your thumb drive called "Images" and don't exceed 32 characters (name plus file extension). I Googled F Sport Images and found a bunch of them. The trick is to find some really good high quality images (I'm still looking). Here is one of 7 that I found and uploaded to try. The sun was strong so I had my window sun shield in front of the window (in case you wonder).

Here is just the image:

Default front bumper guard

As anyone parking in NYC on occasion knows, it's "hit or miss" for some inconsiderate individuals. So I decided to add this for the front license plate just in case. I know it may not look great, but hey, better safe than sorry. I also have unfolding rubber protector for the rear.

I'd like to see the rear as well. The car's rear, that is.

Keep in mind that the rubber protector won't really do a whole lot to help you if the person really backs into you with some speed. The rubber will push back, and it will eventually crack your front or back clip.

Good in theory, not sure about application.

What does the back photo replace? The home screen is typically nav/radio/ect (whatever you make it)

there are two pictures you can replace - a startup picture (your photo will only be displayed for a short time when starting the car)

then there's a photo to display when you go into the settings to actually turn off the display (not sure who would do that)

I use an Iron Man Jarvis pic for my startup image

I only use it in tight spots, maybe 1% of all my driving. That's why it's better than a permanent hitch solution.
