What does the back photo replace? The home screen is typically nav/radio/ect (whatever you make it)
The photo I replaced was one that my dealer put on my car (photo of their dealership) which is probably called the "Start up image.". You can replace only 2 images, the "Start up image" and "Screen off image." I replaced them both with the same image. The new image comes up right after the Lexus logo screen and before the Caution screen. They only let you upload a limited number of images (I think 9 or 10). There were already 3 images in storage (a large Lexus logo, blank screen and my dealer's photo of their dealership. You can post high resolution images of anything you want (wife, girl friend, dog, car, etc.).
If anyone finds some really nice images they should post them and share with us.
Much like the other one, this will only protect you from surface scratches and paint transfer. This won't protect you from someone nudging into you and cracking the clip.
Arguably, someone could claim that this did not give an accurate representation of where your bumper was, so they had "trouble judging" where your car ended. Thus, they could spin this to be your fault if they hit you.
And finally, I would have issue with this because if there was any dirt on your paint, and you set this against the bumper, you now created the situation to scratch the living daylights out of your rear clip....ouch

Just picked up the NX200t F Sport AWD Nebula Gray w/ Red interior yesterday after waiting for what seems an eternity. My wife says I have to be difficult and pick a rare setup! Patience is virtue!

CONGRATS!
I spy a Leaf in the garage. My daily grind mobile is a 2011 Leaf and the misses is now the happy pilot of a USB NX f sport. Notice Sparky peeking around the back?
