Which Vossen's are those and what size? What size tires as well?

 

Happily sitting in my driveway after her first bath - got a little muddy on the drive home from Anchorage.

 

Beautiful car. That Nebula Gray Pearl has to be the best color for the NX.

Well, here she is. I have a lot to learn about this vehicle but am looking forward to that. Would have liked the red interior but at the price I got this for, I have no complaints!

 

I'm so used to the red in mine, would love to see pics of the black interior.

BTW, yours (2015 Series 2) is fully loaded like mine including HUD and AVS, two features not available in the US but well worth it. The AVS smooths out the bumps and controls body motions over irregular roads better than the non-AVS models. Here's an excerpt on the functionality of AVS, if interested, on your trek to learning about your new NX!

Adaptive Variable Suspension

The NX 200t F Sport is available with an optional new-generation, linear
solenoid-type Adaptive Variable Suspension. Working in conjunction with
Drive Mode Select (which adds Sport+ mode), it automatically adjusts
suspension damping in all driving conditions to achieve the highest possible
straight line ride comfort and high-speed stability, with suppression of body
roll and better cornering agility.
Lexus’s breakthrough of using linear solenoid actuators in place of the
more conventional step motors more than trebles the number of control
force levels – from nine to 30. The actuator is more compact, too, so it has
been possible to relocate it from the top of the damper unit to its lower side,
creating a lower bonnet line and more load space. As a result, suspension
response time has decreased four-fold, from 80 to 20 milliseconds.


AVS operation is governed by nine control inputs:

• Vehicle Speed Sensing Control gives ride comfort at low speeds and
handling stability at higher speeds
• Roll Attitude Control maintains the optimum vehicle attitude during
cornering
• Anti-dive Control moderates the tendency to pitch forward under braking
• Rebound Control works best on rough surfaces, smoothing out bumps
• Ruggedness Sensing Control decreases damping force when vibration
from uneven road surfaces is sensed
• Unsprung Mass Variation Damping Control increases damping force
when components such as the wheels start to resonate on uneven surfaces
• VSC Co-operative Control works with the vehicle stability control
systems to provide the best handling options when the vehicle starts to
skid, for example on a damp surface
• Pre-Crash Safety System Co-operative Control provides extra damping
force for accident avoidance under heavy braking

 

Thank you, yes that is helpful. I spent a lot of time looking for a lightly used full load unit. The change in series packages was a bit confusing at first but eventually, I sorted it out.

I'm coming from a pretty sporty Volvo but was ready for a change. Sure notice the difference in rear visibility, especially with no auto head rest lowering. I also miss the power exterior mirror fold, but all else is a big step up.

Will take some interior pics soon, they detailed it but not to my standard, so will do some glass and additional cleaning tomorrow.

Will be reading the manual tonight but wondering if the time the headlights stay on in "Auto" mode can be adjusted or is it set?

 

PS corradoMR2, how could you tell the model from the pic? Is there a feature that automatically stood out? Also curious about the user name; former cars owned? Thanks again!

 

Here are a couple of interior pics for you, did my own wash and quick wax this morning, feel much better now.

I have a spot on the back seat, that doesn't seem to be paint but I can't tell if it is foam poking through or not and don't want to pick at it. Third pic, any ideas anyone?

Here is a picture of my NX200T. This is the second Lexus in my fleet. AWD without all the options I don't want. I did get some nice accessories from Chinese Amazon. Chrome Grille Applique, Mud Flaps, Rain Guards, Brushed Stainless window switch bezels and Door Sill Guards. All under USD $150.
