Did my first trip, 31 miles one way, from Auburn WA to Seattle. Ended with 28.4 few blocks away from destination. That is in challenging for mpg terrain - lots of hills.
On the way home hassled with heavy traffic, so it dropped down, at home, to 27.6.

i got 28mpg`s on the highway on a north carolina trip with my 2015 RX 350... i wish the millage was better on the NX.
Ok, I am pegged at 28.3 mpg average. I can get it up to 28.5 but any traffic negates gain of this nature. Normally drive in Regular mode.
That said, I am positive summer time I'll get her to 29 plus-30. Same always happened to my hybrids and wife's RX350. Winter mpg is routinely 2mpg less than summer one.
I am OK with mpg, it's not bad BUT I am not OK with tiny tank. I have to fuel every week and I am spoiled by hybrids. Camry I fueled 1.5 times a month, HiHy - twice a month. Otherwise, NX is a very nice car.

Mine is averaging 24mpg mix of hiway and city I drive like an animal in both. When I bought it I had a 3hr hiway drive and it averaged 26mpg with cruise set at 75mph. With depending on traffic I would for stretches get up to 80mph. It’s not bad but not great my driving style is likely my biggest issue.
He he. Not sure what happened but! For the last 3 weeks I am now pegged at average 30.2 mpg. Same driving conditions and no, schools are still open. Normal traffic. Same gas station, Costco gas. I did reset - accidentally - mpg long term record though 3 weeks ago. I do not reset long term mpg, that's lesson from hybrids. Hence, I have real averaged mpg. I can get it to 30.4 towards commute end but then Seattle drive knocks it back to 30.2. So I get back on FWY - 30.4 then boom - back to 30.2 city.
I also found no ethanol gas station close by. I need to find out if it's open to general public though. That would be nice. It's about 20 cents more per gallon.
On a 2014 IS F-Sport, I'm averaging around 22-23 MPG (city/highway at 36PSI per tire) in hilly terrain (western PA). I drive like an old man in a hat (very slow). I just got the car 2 weeks ago with 35K miles.
Is this normal? If not, aside from the standard recommendations for upping mpg, any insights not commonly addressed on the web.
On Infiniti's, you can reset the ECU, can this be done on the Lexus safely and will this be helpful with mpg?

you might have better luck finding answers in the IS sub forum, this is the NX sub forum. If you un-hook the battery it should reset the ECU.
Just filled our NX today and calculated 34.5 MPG - in mostly city driving. I believe that is close to our best mileage so far. 8500 miles on the odometer. NX 300h. In reference to an earlier thread. The calculated mileage was .8 lower than the dash display, but as I previously mentioned - the difference is usually closer to 1.6 MPG.

Highly disappointed with fuel economy and range thus far: (2017, base, AWD)
Around town (Colorado Springs) average is about 22 MPG (about the same as our 2015 MDX)....not horrible.
More disappointing was a recent trip to OKC. Speed was between 80 and 85, with factory rails, under 20MPG. Same trip in MDX - 24MPG.
Range is horrible at just over 300 miles (gas light makes wife nervous).
Need to compare with a trip to Denver International....for some reason that trip always yields outrageous economy (34 MP in 2006 Maxima, 38 in 09 TSX, 34 in 15 MDX).
it surprises me the MDX gets better milage we have a 2014 MDX and my NX gets better Milage than the wife’s MDX and I drive pretty fast and a lot harder than her. Hers hasn’t been reset in about a year and mine is likely about 3 months. If she took better care of her stuff I might trade her for a couple weeks and see the difference with me driving hers. But the difference is pretty small right now she gets about 22mpg and my NX gets 23ish. Like I said neither have been reset in awhile and they are both pretty much locked in at those mpg I see you mentioned roof rails her also has roof rails mine doesn’t I don’t think they would effect Milage they are the skinny little OEM Acura rails and we only have the roof box on when we are going skiing
I've had 5 RX 350's over the last 12 years. My current 2017 is getting horrible mileage. I drive primarily in the city and it gets 12 - 13 mpg. The dealer keeps telling me that's because it's city driving. I tell them that's why the sticker says CITY! They've checked it out every way they can and say nothing's wrong with it.
As this is my 5th and I've always gotten mileage much closer to sticker, I think there's something wrong. My driving has not changed.
In any event, I am considering going to an NX now but have the same concerns about low mileage. I've read some people have experience mileage much lower than sticker.
I'd like to know if anyone is finding the mileage to be a lot less than sticker, particularly with city driving.
I see some posts below that mention mileage but I don't see if they're the hybrid or now.
Just got my NX300h this week. Driving 60 miles per day, 3/4 highway mostly on Eco mode, trip computer shows 38.8 mpg for the week. Will post again after a month.
I filled up my new 2019 Lexus NX300 all-wheel drive F Sport for the first time today. I was able to achieve an average mileage of 22. 4 according to my rough calculation. I was in eco mode for the most part and did not punch the accelerator at all.
I'm hoping that the mileage only goes up from here as my previous Lexus IS350 was getting approximately the same mileage in my normal daily commute. And that was a V6 and faster then this NX300.
i am getting around 11-11.7L/100 km city and 7.7L/100km on the highway in my 200t, mostly drive in eco mode and tires are at 40psi. the range after fill up says around 570km but i reset the trip odometer and i only get around 450km a tank, i also have a k&n filter if that helps.
So far I’m averaging 20mpg. I’d say I drive 70% highway and 30% city. City being suburban side streets. I drive mostly in normal mode and occasionally in Sport+.
I’d say I’m an average driver. Occasionally I’ll punch it but not very often.
Coming from an AWD G37 with a 3.7L v6 and 330HP averaging 22mpg.
Hopefully my MPG will at least match the G37. I suppose the NX still needs to break in?
