When I initially got it, it had around 13-14 miles on it.

Thanks. I understand that. But, in the past, their offer has always been close to Private party with sales tax benefit included. If their offer was $18k I would have taken in a heart beat. Unfortunately, they started with 14k. Thats pretty much BS. $17k is respectable and I would have taken it, if I hadn't found a buyer and if not for the fact that they started with 14k. It pissed me off no end. The way they offered it was also under-handed. She, saleswoman, didn't come out and say 14k. She said you have 2k equity (had 12k loan). She knew it was BS. I appreciate that they came out with 17k (only after i showed them VW dealer offered that without looking at the car). I usually have a price target, if the dealer matches it, I take it without price shopping. Not this time. If they are going to claim "market conditions", I will shop "market"

Lexus dealers in Dallas area are BSing . Never had them low-ball so much before. Apparently lexus is offering $5.5k cash for 2015s - so they don't want any used on their lot. Low balling will basically let them get out of it. Sad. I am looking at ES350 but most probably will switch to Infiniti or , believe it or not, Honda. At least I won't feel bad if someone low-***** .
Remember its higher than 17k- because that number comes off the price of the new vehicle for tax purposes. No idea what your taxes are but it's a good chunk of change. @7% it would have been almost 1200.00. The other thing is transferring regs - could have saved you a few nickels too.

Always go armed with the trade in value from KBB -

I recently traded my wifes g35 coupe in the KBB was 6k we got 5500 plus the 400.00 or so for taxes. I also didn't have to sweat selling it and the time it takes up........
If Lexus doesn't want used they simply sell it at auction.

Truecar has the prices people paid in your area - good way to see if dealers are dealing.

Our NX was 46,600.00 msrp w/ options 2015 F-Sport. I ended up getting it for 42,700.00 which according to truecar was excellent. It was in the top 11% at the time based on zip code.

That is quite amazing that we got the exact same deal but for a Silver exterior and Red interior. In fact, the options are the same too except we also got the Blind Spot detection (not sure if you left it out). We got ours at Stevens Creek Lexus.

So $5000 off of 2016 models is already occurring? What do you guys think is a reasonable discount on the leftover 2015 models? Did they offer anything on the 2015's? Thanks!

I got the blind spot detector too. I hope this fully loaded package also comes with the pre-collision system. But I just fall in love to this red interior seat so can't wait 120 days for special order.

Yup 10% is the going rate. As the 16s come in, the 15s will slightly be higher.
