There was no F-sport model left for 2015, so I didn't ask. But I can PM you the internet fleet sales that I was dealing with and you can check with him directly.

This must include all the taxes, which are pretty high in BC. I believe it's 7% provincial tax on top of 5% GST?

Hey guys-newb to leasing so please forgive what's most likely an ignorant question...

The advertised leases? ..2K down/359/month etc etc...
What's the "catch", I've been running the math and doing reading on leasing/lease terms etc. But I don't have the knowledge enough to tell me wife that the advertised deal can't be as good (or as cheap) as she thinks it's going to be.
Don't want to walk into the dealership confused.

Appreciate any helpful comments

Thanks!

The tax is pretty high in Ontario too. We pay an HST of 13%.
62K OTR seems a little close to MSRP though.. which is especially high since 2015s are on the outgoing.

When the NXs just came out, the average paid for F-Sports was very close to MSRP.

Here's a partial listing of pros and cons. Everyone, feel free to add to these lists...

Pros:
  • If you don't like the vehicle, you can get a different one at the end of the lease.
  • Lower monthly payments (generally speaking)
  • Can drive a new car every year or two (or three)
  • Many times, the down payment is lower than when buying

Cons:
  • Must stay under the mileage allowance
  • Can't customize your car other than the basic mods (window tinting, etc)
  • At lease end, you basically have nothing to show for it (no trade-in, etc)
  • Insurance can be higher with a leased automobile
  • Must fix all dents, dings, and scratches

Red mica 300h F-Sport with pretty much everything you can add to it.

¥6,400,000 or about $53,000 at todays exchange rate.

Lexus Japan doesn't do discounts. Everything is sold at MSRP, and the "savings" are tied up in service. Free maintenance for three years. Free car washes and detailing for as long as you own the car, and so on.

Default 2015 vs 2016

What are the prices being offered for 2015 NX200t versus 2016. Compared to invoice - I have an offer for a NX200t FWD base model for invoice - plus their TDA charge (is that the bs I think it is?) of $603. As anyone getting below invoice on 2015?
It looks like some people are getting deals on the 2016 - so if the 2015 isn't low enough, why take the previous year model?

Thx!

From what I've been able to find.. there isn't any actual difference with the car. There is a difference with the packaging in Canada (not sure about the US) where the FSport packages got shifted so that the FSport 1 is now just a cosmetic package on top of the premium package.

I'd say that if you have an option between a 2015 and a 2016, just take whatever is cheaper for the features that you want. In Ontario, the 2015s sold out really fast so it's barely an option now.

Is this a good price, looking to purchase today.

Leasing a 2016 NX300H

MSRP: $49,262
$5,300 off MSRP
Total: $43,962 + tax and fees

Leasing option:
$510 monthly
$3000 Down
30,049 residual
10,000 miles

Im 80% sure that I will purchase the car after the Lease, will I be better off purchasing the car now?
