Invoice price is slowing creeping up towards MSRP. Other mfgs have almost 8% difference but lexus is between 5-6%.

However with the NX, as its now in 2nd MY, the going rate you need to push for 10% off MSRP. Its very attainable.

Seems like such an amazing vehicle for the discounts.

Usually the low cost alternatives for this segment was the RDX. It still is, but I trust Lexus quality more then the RDX which Acura is suffering with currently

Just helped my sister get a NX200t for what I thought to be a good deal, had to work a bit for it though! Color combo is Atomic Silver/Black. MSRP was $44k and some change, I think I got them below $40k. First payment is on them, taxes and fees up front, lease is $400/mo for 36 months, 10kmiles/year with no money down. We have gotten multiple vehicles in the family from them.

Sound similar to the deal I got on my 2015 NX F sport. Sticker was $44k+ and old was at $40k, I leased it for 36 months, 12k for $399 + tax=$423 mo I wrote a check for $1250 at signing which included the tag transfer and first payment

Final Price 39,200
3000 Down
398 A month including tax
12k Mile per year

I feel like we got a pretty good deal. Basically fully loaded.

Here's the deal I'm currently contemplating for the 2016 NX F Sport Series 2. (In Toronto, Canada btw)

Thoughts on this deal?

MSRP $51,550
Discount: 4,550
Selling price: 47,000
Freight: 905.00
Dealer Fees: 1,140.00
Cap Fees: 137.50
Gross Cap Cost: 49,182.50

16km/year, $5k down, 39 month lease

Monthly payments are:

$576/month taxes in.

Not sure of the pricing in Canada but why put $5 down on a lease? Money is usually very cheap and if the car is totaled or stolen, your out your downpayment

Reason for $5k down is because I'm planning on purchasing the car after the lease term. You're right with regards to the car being totaled or stolen, I'll toss that $5k into the security deposit which I'll get back at the end of the lease..and it earns a decent interest rate rather than the down payment. Thanks for this, I never really thought about it like that.

Problem here in Toronto, Canada is that the pricing for the NX is between $750-$900/month including taxes without a down payment.

Default NX200t FWD Current Offer, thoughts?

Hi All,

I am currently working up an offer with a Lexus dealer in Raleigh, NC for the following NX (they would have to get it from Georgia so they are eating the transfer fees):

2016 NX 200t FWD
Obsidian with Black NuLuxe
Premium Package (18 inch wheels, premium LED DRLs, etc)
Power Back Door
Park Assist
BSM with Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Preferred Accessory Package

MSRP: $40673
Discount: -3700
Nitro Fill: $499
Total: $37472

Trade: $18000
Trade Diff: $19472
Doc Fee: $649
Tax $603.63
Tag Fee: $144

Net Price: $20668.63
Payoff on Trade: $17870

Total Out the Door: $38738.63
$675 down

Finance $38063.63 at 72 months, 2.75% for $575 a month (with GAP included)
Finance $37168.63 at 72 months, 2.75% for $561.08 a month (WITHOUT GAP)

Thoughts on this deal? The trades is basically a wash and tried to get them to take of $499 fee without budging. Was hoping for $560 with GAP...

That $499 Nitro fill is pure profit. I would not be willing to pay $1 for that. Typically the only thing of value is that some of those Nitro Fill things coming with Road side assistance which you should already get with the car.

Also, shop the trade, make sure you getting paid fair value for it.

that $499 seems absurd to me - I mean really out of this world absurd where I would walk away and never step foot in there again.
