Focus on the cap cost (the selling price) and not the monthly lease payments. Make your best deal just as if you were buying the car, since whatever the cost is will be the basis for your monthly payments, just as it is with financing.

Try Santa Monica Lexus...got mine there last year for 15% off msrp. Also Riverside Lexus had great deals too....I think Alvin was the salesman there...straight shooter and gave great price. Also try Newport Lexus...better deals amongr OC dealers

just leased a 2018 nx300 w/ MSRP of 41,000

$325/mo (excl taxes)
15,000/yr mileage allowance
36 months
$3699 paid at signing
$22660 residual

comes to about 1.87% IRR vs. a financing rate of 1.9%....

This thread is driving me nuts. I'm moving out of my 2015 lease into a 2018 - quoted around $580 a month for an F-Sport (no-nav) with $2k down, 12,000 a year. I have impeccable credit. The dealer is refusing to do any better. How is everyone getting these prices in the $400 a month range?!

What's the price they are selling it to you at? Are there any "add-ons"? With $2k down, 36mo, and 12K a month, you should be getting better than that.
I got a FULLY loaded NX, literally everything short of port accessories (door side molding etc), I have 36mo, 15k a month and ZERO down and my monthly is $517

I actually signed the papers for it this morning. I got them lower than I posted here last night, and I'm happy with the deal I got (but still not nearly as low as some of these others!).

Default NX300 Lease Out of Sight

I'm in NJ and returning a 2015 ES350 off lease to get a 2018 NX300 AWD with MSRP around $46,700. Putting down $5500. w/10,000 miles. Best the dealer will do is $399/mo. for 48 months. Prefer 36 months, but even higher. I think this is rediculous but got the same deal at two other dealers and they will not budge. Any inof on Money factor and residuals on this model.

Default Thoughts

$400 a month
$3,000 down including first months payment
15,000 miles a year
36 months
im in nj this is for the nx sport 2018 with no nav. Do you think I could get this better? Also what should the residual be? I haven’t gotten into that yet. Also I am coming from a Lexus so not sure if any loyalty is included.

I could be wrong, but I think the residual is predetermined. The biggest variables in my experience are the cap cost (price, which is just as negotiable on a lease as it is on a purchase) and the money factor (interest, of which the dealer gets a cut).

The money factor should be revealed as part of the agreement, but the dealer should be able to tell you while you are negotiating the price (cap cost). If you multiply the money factor by 2400, you get the translation into an APR. In the picture above, the money factor was 0.0008. This translates into 1.92%.
