My calculator gets a much lower number. And, $699 in dealer fees is outrageous. Needless to say, I'm going to keep shopping.
Residual should be around $26k.

Here come the newbie questions...sorry in advance but I am 100% new to leasing.

So I see on the Edmunds Forum that I should expect an MF of 0.00030, an RV of 53%, and a $1500 incentive on an NX F-Sport Gas.

I see on ClubLexus that I should expect to get a Dealer Discount of 10-15% off of MSRP.

Is this discount generally inclusive of the Lexus incentive or over and above?

Should I expect the MF and/or RV change with negotiated price?

Is this realistic, or should I expect more or less?:

36 Month / 12,000 Miles

$48,213 MSRP
-$1500 Incentive
-$4821 10% Dealer Discount

$41,892 Final Price
+$0.00 Down Payment
+$1202 Due @ Signing (Doc Fee 190, Title Fee 30, Theft Fee 499, First Payment 483)

$478 Monthly Lease Payment before Sales Tax and/or DMV fees.

I believe in Indiana I'll owe Sales Tax on the total of the lease payments...can anyone confirm this? Google wasn't much help.
What about License/DMV fees? Are these built into the lease, or do I simply pay the DMV?

I like!
The discount from MSRP, I figure all available discounts & incentives. Both of which will decrease your cap cost (selling price).
As for this deal, I would say it's pretty good with an unfortunate RV but expense is being subsidized via MF.
One thing I'm unsure of that sounds fishy to me is your listed 'Theft Fee' . Why? You have insurance for any theft. Sounds bogus to me.
Overall, good deal in my eyes.

Disregard MSRP and any dealer discounts off MSRP.
On edmunds build and option the way you want to get the edmunds tmv. From the tmv page note the invoice price. Or get the invoice price any other way like truecar etc.
This is your starting point. The invoice price. Minus any cash incentives from lexus. This is the price you can get any day/any time. Prepare to walk away. Leave your name/phone for them to call you back.
Don't worry they will still make a profit due to other things like dealer holdback etc. Sometimes you get $1,000 to $2,000 below invoice during year end and stuff.. even without any manufacturer incentives.

Thanks! I haven't made this deal yet. Was just wondering if this is where I should draw my line. I'll do what I can to get the theft fee waived. It's listed in the dealer's minimum fees.

Do you mind sharing which dealer made this offer? I'm having a hard time getting more than 7-8% off of MSRP in the midwest. Before incentives.

Depends on the final numbers they give you. Check the invoice price on edmunds, but rough numbers off the top seems like you are below invoice by quite a margin. Get an itemized list of your final cost from the dealership in terms of fees, taxes, RVs, mF (you can reverse calculate some of these things if they play coy), they usually will include the tax burden as well.

Subject to change but :https://drivinglaws.aaa.com/tag/titl...stration-fees/

Personal theory here, but it seems this dealer/maybe more have a lot of trunk money for the 19s if they are willing to go much below invoice on an NX. 20s should be rolling in soon since even the website defaults to them. You could push more, but depends on whether this deal is replicable outside of the current one.

My first stab at it online is as follows. What I posted yesterday is obviously unrealistic...

We're about $50 per month apart.

While I can say nope those numbers dont sit right, at the end it depends on you. That sell price is near invoice. My advice widen your search area and see what dealers are offering. close to $600 a month seems RX/GX and for kicks GLC money.

EDIT: if you can wait, I`d see how the July and Summer to remember programs are. Traditionally leasing is best during the end of Q1, but the incentive package usually is greater starting Mid Summer.

some have good success with going after just the monthly figure. With this strategy even though you know the theory behind the numbers like MF, resdidual, cap cost etc you play dumb and play with just one number...the monthly payment. Also are you really going to need 15k miles per year ? If 12k miles is max you may really do then use that to leave less $ on the table on lease return ..For this trick to work you must be sure you will return at lease end and not planning buy at lease end with the residual. Basically you walk into any L dealership and say .. Max I can afford is $450 or whatever per month all inclusive taxes etc zero down. and you need 36/12k F sport gas. Makes haggling easier..since going around just one number..

That's basically what I'm doing. Telling them I'll do $542 with $0.00 down and $1400 out of pocket. So far, not so good...

That's exactly what I did with my lease, go in with a figure and let them do the numbers. Came out with $468/month 3years/10k miles. $0 down and taxes, fees paid upfront. MSRP was $50100 2019 fsport NX300 AWD blue on red.

Another tip I learned when I leased a VW Gti some years back. Awesome car btw. You can roll everything into your monthly payment. I mean taxes, all the fees literally everything. I got a deal for like 36/12k miles for $350 per month. (Not a penny more upfront or on lease return and zero down..) good luck
