The NX has "puddle lamps". Not only do they have puddle lamps for the driver and front passenger, but for occupants at all four doors. The door handles—in addition to the built-in courtesy lights to help grip the handle—also have specific LEDs that shine downward to the ground below each of the handles.💡

After a few months of driving I'm starting to find the narrow bucket seats of the F Sport annoying.
I have big thighs and I sit with a pretty wide gape so my left thigh ends up sitting on and crushing the left side bolster.
I wonder if one can get that changed and get the wider seat found in the non F Sport.
the seat back is fine however.

At my 10K service, I told the service rep about the noise lift gate motor. I told them that the RX lift gate is way quieter than the NX. The rep said that they know about the loud motor and that it's a different part than the one in the RX as it has to be able to deal with the additional weight of the subwoofer in the tailgate.
Basically, there's nothing they can do about it.

License Plate Lighting Cutouts Shape
For those that remember the "Facet City" commercial video by Lexus—which exploits all the angles and sharp edges of the NX—then this discovery should not be a surprise...
The license plate lamp assembly cut-outs have these shaped facets that coincide with the other angles and edges found in the NX. They could have easily left them in a default rectangular shape, but once more, proving Lexus' "attention to detail".
NX cutouts for license plate light assembly.

Ha! Good eye! 👀
My NX is only three+ weeks old and the dealer has submitted a plate transfer request to the DMV. In the meantime, I physically transferred the plate from my previous car. In my experiences, custom plates like this one always causes some delay somewhere along the line.
p.s. I've had this custom plate for 20 years.

This my first car with a backup camera so I don't know if this is normal. But every time it rains, the water clings to the outside lenses, obscuring the camera and making it hard to use the camera to backup.
Anyone have a fix for this?

I wonder if Rain-X or something similar would help.

I too find the backup camera rather annoying, distracting. I like that the side view mirrors can be programmed to drop in and down when i reverse. The three mirrors give me a clear, accurate view of what's behind me and next to me. The camera has guidelines that don't match up to anything on the car. The camera lens is distorted and makes it tricky to gauge distance and placement. I set the view to it's minimum brightness so it's less distracting at night. I may just put tape over the camera
