I don't know if it uses cell service or satellite for this, so either one could be the issue if you are just in a dead zone for that coverage.

I was at work with really good cell phone and data reception. I could see my NX from my office window and it was still giving me this message so I was baffled. I've used it in a similar location days before on the first try. I'll test again tomorrow to see how it goes.

Are there trees or other things near or over your car when parked? Is it close to a tall building? All these types of things can and do affect radio signals.

Nope, it is parked right outside in clear, open space in the parking lot. I am going to try again in a few hours when I get out of work. If I keep getting failures, I'll contact my dealership as stated in the message.

The response I got was it's not in the plans to offer it and that their market research has not shown a strong desire for it. They sent my concern/interest to the Product Planning department for future consideration.

Anyone interested in Enform in Canada, should voice their interest to Lexus Canada via their "Contact Lexus" link on lexus.ca. You never know...

So I tried again this evening and the first time I used the Lexus Remote Enform to start up my NX, it failed, but the second time was successful. I'm thinking they have a very short timeout setting... which could explain the randomness of the failed/successful remote starts.

I talked to the Technology Specialist at the dealership where I purchased the vehicle. He was able to go directly to Lexus and have all the app activation issues I had, quickly corrected.

Its funny, going direct to Lexus got me no where for 2+ weeks, however the dealership was able to fix it in under six hours...amazing.

And so far the app has worked really well.

I read online that when using auto-start, it is supposed to turn the air/heat on automatically to 72 degrees.

Does anyone have this working for the NX? Mine does not turn the air/heat on after the auto-start.

Default Auto Start ?

I got my car today. I can auto start the car. But as soon as I open the door the engine shuts off. Is this the normal behaviour?

Also my trunk light is not turning on. How do I get it to work?

Thanks.

Normal. As soon as you open door, apply brake, unlock with remote.

The rear trunk/ hatch lights have switches on them. They may be set to off, not door ajar.

The climate control will default to the last user setting. If the outside temp is below 41 degrees or above 86 degrees and the A/C or heat was off when the vehicle was turned off, it will be set to an automatic 77 degrees. If the outside temp is less than 41 degrees the front and rear defroster will turn on.

Did some digging and found out the remote app only works with Apple/Android. I like my windows phone but this is the last straw. I'm tired of being left out of all the good apps. Phone works great with bluetooth phone though.

Why did Lexus put in a cell charger in the NX when Apple doesn't support wireless charging?

I'll be switching over to an Android phone soon. No apples for me.

You can get a cover that supports Qi for the iPhone, and Apple may actually include it as a feature in the next update.

That being said, I use a Lumina 930 (Icon in the US), and the wireless charging tray works great with the phone

The Qi charger in the NX doesn't support the iPhone 6+ as the phone is bigger than the charging / holding tray so it kinda defeats the purpose..
