I have a NX 300h Executive. and if it is possible to change the Grill to an F-Sport Grill.

The told me just yesterday for about 700 Euro (include work) the will do that.

So it should not a to bad and not to expensive change.

Also I have seen already in Japan that some didi that, and the size should just fit.

Hope that helps.

That does sound very cheap. That's like $760 USD.

Greeting

Yes please post as this will help owners interested who are outside N. America.

However, you may not be aware that in the US and Canada, we have a different bumper and would require a much more expensive conversion that includes the full bumper, fog lights, grille, among possibly other parts and electronics such as the parking assist, DRCC, crash sensors, and so on..

Fortunately for other markets the F sport grill and the non F sport grills are very similar. And a swap can easily be done.

Not so for the American market. The front ends of these cars are so different that it's kind of difficult to make the swap.

WOW, I am very surprised. Didn't know that the US & Canada not F-Sport looks so different. What is the reason to make the non F-Sport so different.

Here in Europe the F-sport and non F-Sport looks mostly the same and the swapping out of the grill is not a big deal. I only had to wait, because the old F-sport grill had no support for the camera, but the new F-sport grill has the camera hole and can be swapped out.

Sorry for you guys. but i will post the change in Februar so you can see how it worked out, maybe the change something in the US in the future.

everything is different in the US, gallon, feet, miles and whatever... hmmm

Greetings

I believe I've read somewhere that the U.S. non f sport version has the different bumper so that it could be classified as a light duty truck for emissions purposes (one requirement for this vehicle classification is the approach angle of the front bumper) so they did the ugly shark face front end to meet that requirment. I have a hybrid so I'm stuck with it for now but will definitely take the endeavor of converting to a f sport front end later down the road.

So the process of the change to a F-sport look would look like this.

Can I get a nx200t with the F-sport front grill/bumper?-lnxg.jpeg

1. changing the Grill (USD 750.-)
2. adding the silver xxx (USD 550.-)

this will only work on the not North American Models. like i have seen now.
so the leftover will be the old Executive Grill

LOL, you are right.

the difference is for the North American Model the front has to be changed. the European Model needs only the Grill change and the silver (whatever it called) has to be added. so a very simple change.

Why not the F-sport at the first place? that's a good question, but i bought the Executive Model with 360 camera, panorama roof and ventilated seats. and the F-Sport did't have that.

大きな違いは価格です。欧州は税金が高いので、76,000.- USD でした。米国のほうが全然安いです。

in Europe the tax is very high and the NX was 76,000.- USD.

We are cheap here, tax-wise. I do expect the USD/JPY exchange rate to play with the price a little, however, since the NX is built in Japan.

Here is Tax for new cars about 28%.

so most of the cars is Japanese list price + tax. and for a Lexus it can get really high.
