Hi - did you figure out how to get a click? I am struggling BIG TIME to get the cross bars to click...started and restarted the process multiple times and still no click - and by started and restarted, I mean I completely took the cross bars off, put them back on and tried turning the **** to get a click (first on passenger side, then drivers side, as per instructions). What in the world am I doing wrong???

How to remove
Just bought a 2015 used with racks installed. I have the keys and loosened the nut, but couldn't figure out how to remove after that. Any guidance? Also, Lexus said they don't or won't need to click again after initial install, is that correct? They got super tight and hard to spin, so I stopped and called Lexus so I wouldn't break them.

I noticed that some of these crossbars are completely flat (the OEM ones?) and some are arched. Does it make a difference? Would it depend on what you expect to use them for? I would like to buy a set 'just in case' but I would probably want to opt for a FLAT set, since I'm expecting that I might want to someday use it to haul something big and flat, like perhaps a small piece of furniture.

Was wondering if anyone with the OEM cross bars that can chime in with their opinion of them X amount of years later. Looking to buy them but want to make sure it's a purchase that will be worth it in the long run. I'm looking for any info on longevity, quality control, issues that came up after install/various uses, helpful tips or anything relevant.
