Just recently redid the vossens from a machined silver/matte to an all graphite/gunmetal matte.

I noticed a slight loss of power/acceleration and my fuel Milage went from 9.7L/100km to 10.1L/100km instantly after being stuck at 9.7 forever. I get slight rubbing in the rear if I have my kids in the back and hit a large bump at hiway speeds but it’s pretty rare it has happened and I haven’t taken the time to investigate where it rubs its the driver side rear but what it rubs on I am not sure.

I no longer have a photo bucket account so i will try uploading on the forum. I got 20x9 255/45 and 20x10.5 275/40... I am in desperate need of lowering it now.

Why did you go for the former despite the latter being the perfect match for the stock 18" diameter?

Looks great! How's the ride with 22's?

Thanks! I was initially very apprehensive about the idea of 22’s. I knew that my options were either a smaller wheel and a suspension modification or a bigger wheel. I decided on the 22’s with a 265/35/22 tire. I must say the ride is very smooth. Yes I must now be a lot more vigilant about watching out for upcoming defects in the roadway ahead but the 265/35 tire really holds its own. It’s as quiet in city streets as it is the highway and feels a lot more stable around turns than the OEM 17 wheels it came with.

Have some 20" Volk VR.G2s I pulled from my GS450h before selling and looking for opinion on using them on the NX. They are staggered, (20x10+30R, 20x9+25F), but im wondering what the thoughts are if i ran 265s all around on them? Any opinion on these offsets and widths?

Did you do this yourself? I like that color and would be interested in possibly doing the same.

Default NOS 20 Inch FIVE:AD S5:F Find A Home On My New NX

Hi Fellow Lexus Enthusiasts!

My name is Troy and I just picked up a 2016 L/Certified NX 200t F Sport from my friends at Longo Lexus in El Monte, California. Thank you Anthony Nguyen for a painless transaction and Jeff Chang for always taking great care of me!

Some of you may know me, I own Five Axis and we've build a few Lexus Concepts and Show Cars, over the years. I'm just here to share my NX, with you, and make some new friends. I've always liked the NX, F Sport, not the wedge nose version, haha. I figured I'd wait a few years and with the recent L/Certified promos I had to take a second look and stumbled upon this very gently used 2016 with 26K miles on it at Longo Lexus. Keep in mind these guys do a nice job of prepping their cars and this one even had brand new Yokohama rubber on it which, as you'll see, was no benefit for me. Regardless, it's super clean and the interior is immaculate. I am very happy.

As some of you may remember, we used to have a wheel line called FIVE:AD but we ended it several years ago. I kept some of the old 19's and 20's for stuff like this. I originally was going to put 19x9.5 square but after seeing some others with 20's, I knew I had to step up and I had a pallet of staggered 20's made mainly for Z cars, on ice for this occasion. My favorite design has always been the S5:F especially the deep dish of the 19 and 20x10.5. It's crazy the 10.5 +22 fits perfectly right up in there with a stretched tire. I did have to cut some plastic and metal but nothing crazy and I do it on all my slammed rides already!

Anyways, here's what I've done, so far.

My Car: 2016 Lexus NX 200t F Sport (L/Certified)
Color: Silver Lining Metallic
Wheels: FIVE:AD S5:F 20x9.5 +25 F, 20x10.5 +22 R, Gunmetal (Please don't ask, I only have my private stash of FIVE:AD wheels left, not for sale! Sorry!)
Tires: Sumitomo HTR A/S 245/45R20 F, 275/40R20 R
Suspension: RS-R Sports-i Coilover System -45mm F/R

Suspension set up is very nice and has almost 50 clicks between hard and soft settings on the dampers. I have it favoring the firmer side, at the moment.
The ride is a little sportier but still really nice compared to all my slammed cars, or even our stock FJ.
I wanted a fatter tire sidewall, being that this is an SUV so 20" wheels were the logical choice. I chose to stretch both front and rear tires to give it less of a truck tire look and more sportier appearance. Still playing with the offset and might poke the wheels out a little more. Right now it's pretty flush
Overall super happy with the car and dig some of the little design and engineering features. A single jack point in the front and rear is pretty cool for us tuner folks!
Prob going to tune the audio, next, with my buds at Pioneer who make the factory system. Just need more boom boom.
Might inquire into a front brake kit with my friends at Stoptech but that's probably it. Not interested in exhaust or noise makers.
And definitely some anti chrome treatments, either gloss black of brushed matte smoked stainless look.

Here's what it looks like, for now.

Lowered on RS-R Sports-i Coilovers. Factory RS-R Front settings, Rear adjusted +10mm.

Stance is where I want it, small gap between tire and wheel house, more SUV Sport than slammed hatch.

Staggered looks great on this car. Too bad mines not AWD. :-(

Offset in front could probably use about +5mm and rear is probably okay, for now. Never satisfied.

NOS 20" FIVE:AD S5:F Wheels. Sorry, no more wheels for sale!

Test fit. 20x9.5 +25 F, 20x10.5 +22 R

Love the dish of the 10.5 with the mild stretch of the 275/40 Sumitomo tire sidewall. Purposely trying to avoid the typical boxy or baloony SUV/Truck tire profile.
