I'm just back from the wheel shop and got recommended some crazy specs.
front
19x8.5
255/40/19
rear
19x9.5
275/35/19
does it make sense?
You're right, they are crazy! Overall tire diameter is too small so wheel will rotate faster than what the car is calibrated for. Also, wheel fills the well less making the gap larger and wheel look smaller (if you car about these visuals):
OEM 225/60/18 = 727 mm
255/40/19 = 687 mm
275/35/19 = 674 mm
Speedo/Odometer diff = ~6% optimistic (i.e. 60 mph indicated; actual is 56.4 mph) for the 255/40
= ~7% optimistic (i.e. 60 mph indicated; actual is 55.8 mph) for the 275/35
If you want 19s, 245/50 for a perfect match or slightly wider rubber same profile or even wider at 45 series, not lower.
I didn't want to create a separate thread but I have question about the spare tire in the trunk. I know it's a full size spare stored back there but would anyone know if there's enough room for a fifth matching rim and tire. Usually there is if a car accommodates a full size spare.
I know this is a bit vain but I don't like riding on a spare cause it really detracts from the look of the car. So I like having a fifth rim instead of the steel wheel as a spare.

What are the offsets of the rims?
Let me find out more and I'll come back here.
But for now, I'm not going to go back to that shop.
AIMGAIN GIIM Forged 22" front 10.5 offset 28 , rear 10.5 offset 8 265/30/22"
Black Brushed , lip black very glossy
I have the complete wide body kit AIMGAIN, but probably it will not install or only some parts but modify them by us. NX has already beautiful shape even without the body kit
Thank You for the info! I was dying to see if I could fit 10.5" wheels all around on the NX. The rears sit perfectly! I'm dying to see how flush the fronts sit. Keep the pics coming!

Hi
so more photos will be waiting for the rest of the tire (I tested with only one tire)
And here it comes...I tested today.
More pics soon
255/55/19
265 are too much in my opinion.

Rays 19" with 255/55
LOL, now you're 5% too tall in diameter (763mm vs 727mm) with 255/55/19 vs 225/60/18 and your center of gravity is almost 1 inch taller posing a safety risk in addition to your odomoter/speedometer reading too slow now. It's recommended you stay within +- 3%, personally under 2% is what I prefer.
Again, for 19", 45-50 series max in the 245-265 range wide tires for the size you're looking for.
I need advice: leave the original fenders? or used AIMGAIN fenders?
both versions are like me using fenders from aimgain wheels are nicely aligned
thanks for the help
LOVE it with the Aimgain fenders. It now makes the wheels flush and integrates especially well on Eminent White vs the OEM flat black fenders. Do the fenders bolt on top of the OEM ones or you need to remove the OEM first?
