Trunk release button
hello,
If the NX has the manual trunk opener, is there a trunk release button anywhere on the driver side? I cannot seem to find it

When you say manual trunk opener what do you mean? There is the power rear hatch and then there is the option to not have that as a powered open option. I just want to make sure you don't mean a button to trigger the power rear door.
If you do mean a button for the power rear door it is on the drivers side dash near the BSM button and other buttons in that area.
If you mean for a non-powered rear hatch then I am not certain as I have the powered version.

I have not ever seen an NX with the manual rear hatch, but if it's like any other Toyota or Lexus (i.e. CT) product, no manual release in the cockpit. Instead, you open it manually outside like any hatchback (i.e. CT) by pressing the rear latch and lifting.

It's a non power rear hatch I was referring to. So there is no button in the cockpit for it. The key fob does not have a trunk release as well

Plus, even if you have the power lift gate, there is an option to turn it off. And in the event that the motor has been turned off, there still has to be a way to lift it.
