They left off a slew of features off of the NX. My guess is that they didn't want the NX to compete with the RX, especially in the RX's first year of sale. I believe Lexus will trickle in the features over the life of the vehicle. The mid-cycle refresh will get the most features added.

I said this in another post. The good thing about the way Lexus is building out the NX for different markets is that we can see what features they are putting into the other builds. We can only hope that most or all the features make it to the North American build. I'm looking forward to trading in my current model and getting a 300h F Sport. or at least one could dream.

In the case of the ventilated seats, Lexus didn't leave off that feature. Its just not an option on F Sports. The regular and hybrids have that option.

Well, they are not cooled via air-conditioning, just ventilated.

that's what I meant. however in other markets you can get an F Sport with ventilated seats. So it's not like they can't do it.
