When I first got my NX 5 months ago I thought the Drive Mode feature was awesome and couldn't wait to use it. But now I must admit that I have no regular system or process for when I use each mode.
Just seem to use it based on my mood. I seem to stay in Normal 90+% of the time. Feeling sporty I hit sports mode for a while, then Eco, then back in Normal.
Is anyone using Drive Mode regularly and have you developed some guidelines or planned system to switch between modes?

I always try to use Sport Mode on my 300h when I am getting on, or driving on, a higher speed area, like an expressway, or side rode with a 55mph limit on it. Other than that I tend to keep it in NORM mode.
I do notice the difference for getting on the expressway when in Sport Mode compared to NORM.

I use normal mode most of the time . Oh the highway , I like Eco mode to save gas ... Love the sport mode , but uses more gas so I use it sparingly .

I like to start my drive on Eco mode then ramp up to Sport S mode to appreciate the extra responsiveness. I usuallyu skip Normal to feel the difference more. Then S+ to tighten the adaptive suspension and body roll on twisties.

I will use Eco on the highway, but normal most of the other time.
I find that I like sport less and less due to the odd mapping that dictates when the boost comes in. Like I'll put my foot down some and the engine will go to 3k, then shift to the next gear and then throw 12psi of boost at me.
Or I'll be giving just a "little" throttle going up to a bend, and then it decides to throw 7psi of boost at me in which I need to hit the brakes.
The boost table needs a tune IMO

A/C is suppressed a bit in Eco mode (as per the owner's manual). In Normal and Sport (and assumedly in S+ on those that have it) the A/C is "normal". When the vehicle is hot inside, say after being in the sun for a while, I'll use Normal mode until it cools down.

Driving with wife and kids = 90% Normal mode, and Sport mode used occasionally for freeway on-ramps
Solo = 50% Sport and ASC (Active Sound Control) set at highest volume

Have you seen the gas price of gas lately? ECO 100% of the time. LMAO!
I'm going to start using normal mode more as it gets hotter cause the A/C really struggles to keep the cabin cool when in ECO.
I've only used the sport mode a handful of times just to check out the performance.
