I stand corrected. I went to double check after your post and lo and behold, I have same dimples!

Nuluxe does take some shape from applied pressure after time. My daughter sits in that seat regularly which makes me wonder if the dimples were worse in the past.

Are these necessarily a bad thing or an observation/annoyance?

i have no issue with them. It doesn't detract from the appearance of the seat or material. They may just be character marks from the manufacturing process.

I had the 2012 Camry where Toyota debuted the nu-luxe, faux leather seats and I can attest that the material in those seats was quite a bit thicker and tougher than the material they used in the NX. So those seats did not crease at all from normal use.

The Nu-luxe seats in the NX, on the other hand, crease easily because they were made thinner so they would feel more supple and luxurious.

I have several situations of this kind of stuff around my car. My assumption is that nuluxe is a very forgiving material and is not good under tension. Overall, the more I deal with nulux, the more I want leather.

While Lexus calls it Nulux, no matter how you slice it, theyre vinyl seats with a fancy name. Its a major reason I opted not to get an F Sport as well as the ventilated seats

Well, we all seem to have the dimples on the F Sport rear seat. At least it's consistent!

Any non-F Sport and LEATHER-seat owners see this too?
