I am looking at getting the F Sport in Atomic Gray. Any opinions on which wheel option to go with?


18-in split-five spoke alloy with the black inside spokes or the split-five spoke with the superchrome finish?

Not sure in the US but in Canada the F Sport package includes the (better) 18 inch wheels. Not sure you can even get the standard 17s on the F Sport.

hmm, When I bought mine, a couple of months ago in Florida, there was only one wheel on the F sport. Looks like there is a 19" option now

Superchrome FTW. Looks a little like hematite, though not quite as dark.


Personally, not a huge fan of the forged look...just my opinion. Plus, $3,250? Ummmmmm, no!

The superchrome goes well with certain color.





The stock wheels looks good, but very basic to me.

The key difference between the two options besides the wheel finish is tires that you might want to consider. The superchrome comes with sportier summer rubber 235/55/18, whereas the other wheel comes with touring all-season rubber a little narrower and higher profile 225/60/18.

Thanks for the feedback. I think both 18 in options have there pros. I like that the black matches up well with the grill and side mirrors, but I'm curious how close the superchrome finish is to Atomic Gray? Anyone have that combo. In Trunvt's picture, it looks like they match Nebula Gray better than Atomic.

The Superchrome is a chrome-like gray which is a near perfect match to Nebula Gray Pearl. Much less so with Atomic Silver which has tones of titanium/beige. You can see the differences somewhat below. AS pics are member tresmith00's.

Personally, I like the superchrome on lighter shades of paint because, to me, it makes the rims appear a little darker than they actually are. Actually, I wish they were about 1 shade darker. Not black, but a good graphite color.

I have the superchome one mine. I think they are the best looking wheels for the NX. I just wish they were 19" instead of 18." Nineteen inch rims are more the standard on sporty vehicles these days. I also hate the tire size, they are too high profile.
