I just read that the 2016 Hybrid has this, did the 2015 have this feature before?

ACTIVE DAMPING CONTROL
Surprisingly, one of the most noteworthy handling features on the NX hybrid is a system designed to be the least obvious. Utilizing wheel-speed and suspension sensors, this innovative system uses the torque of the hybrid motor to automatically counter the pitching force caused by uneven roads. As a result, the NX hybrid is kept more level, enhancing ride comfort and overall handling response.

wow that's nice.

Just thinking out loud that if the hybrid came with the F-sport package that the marriage of ADC and the sport suspension would really enhance ride and handling.

Lexus Canada just released the pricing and the package details for 2016 NX a few days ago --

http://media.lexus.ca/releases/the-l...hoice-for-2016

The bird's eye view monitor/panoramic view monitor is still left out on purpose (make it exclusive to new RX, a higher up model).

I would think they include it since 2016 RAV 4 Hybrid has this feature.

That system won't stop a vehicle if it moves.period. it will only informs you. That's a reason I decided to get way less vehicle with same features as nx and safe 20k

My 2016 NX 300h is supposed to have arrived on Island already (Oahu, HI). The sales manager said that we have to wait for Lexus USA to release the 2016 models before we can get our car, maybe one week, maybe two the suspense is killing me....

I have noticed that as well. They have also spread the Fsport over 3 models and also spread out the features and raised the price for the Fsport 3. So basically you pay more for an Fsport 3 to get the same features as the 15' Sport 2. Glad I got mine when I did..

There are no other differences.

I believe this feature and others are coming to the NX after the RX has been on the market for a couple of years.

I believe that the NX will get all of the left out features at mid-cycle refresh in a couple of years...that will give the RX plenty of time to be on the market .

Thanks for the post AndyL.

I'm pleased to see a more "affordable" NX 300h at 53K in addition to the fully decked-out 60K model.

Yes, this is one of the good news. I see this is a trend for Lexus Canada --- they improve the content of the middle packages after the 1st year for a new model. So if you get one with the top package on the 1st year, you are not missing anything but save some money as opposed to getting a second-year model. Another example is the 3IS. Look at the executive package for regular model. The features in the package are identical in 14' and 15' but you save a couple of hundred dollars if you went for 14'.

So for the NX 300h, they did the reverse -- create a more basic model with a better price to make it more affordable.

Crispy, you are correct. They expanded the features in the Fsport 2 and spread some features in Fsport 3. The features in 16' Fsport 3 are the same as in 15' Fsport 2 except they rephrased the wording for the Lane Keeping Assist.

I have the same thought. Mid-cycle which probably appears as MY2018 or later would have all the left out features.

Another small chance is they work quietly add some left out features due to stiffer competition in the middle of a model year as they did for the previous generation of RX (blind spot monitor was added)

Hi everyone,

Just ordered a 2016 nx200t f sport series 3 yesterday in atomic silver with rioja red interior. Will be arriving here in Canada at the end of November. We actually bought a 2015 sport series 2 model but the dealer wasn't able to find the colour combination that we wanted so they gave us a pretty good deal with the 2016 model instead.

What I'm wondering is if the f sport series 3 will have heated front seats or not? I know the 2015 f sport series 2 has them but it's not listed in the brochure for the 2016 f sport models. Anyone have any information on this?

jdt, congrats on your purchase. Yes, your NX will have the heated seats as the base NX comes with them and F Sport packages simply show the additions on top of the standard equipment.

Apparently lane departure warning is now an option on the 2016 NX 300h. I wanted that feature but it was only available for the NX 200t.
