I'm not digging the OEM Canadian version where it extends all the way up to the seat backs with the accordion ridges. I prefer the US version for the cleaner look.

My cargo tray (US OEM):

I have the OEM mats for my NX and they are OK. What I'd really like to see is if anyone found a solution to the rear seatback carpets from getting dirty when the seats are laid down. Like its too bad they aren't vinyl or leather so they can be wiped easily. Usually crap gets in the carpeting thats hard to vaucuum out especially on a black interior.

I carry a smallish blanket at all times. If I get stuck in the cold, I stay warm. If I want to carry manure from Home Depot I lay it down over the folded-down seats. Then I wash the blanket.

Of course I was kidding...kind of. But therein lies the rub: in the NX we all bought a luxury vehicle (not a Ford Transit or something); it has nice carpeted rear seatbacks. To me, if they were rubber or vinyl it wouldn't be "luxury".

But I do really carry the blanket. I am known to carry potted plants or other, similarly-messy things at times (like, for instance, bagged topsoil or manure blends!), so the blanket comes in handy to contain the mess.

Instead of a blanket, I carry a tarp. That way, any liquid matter won't soak through a blanket and possibly stain the seat back carpet. A tarp also folds smaller than a blanket which makes the under-floor storage a great place to stow it.

Yep. Got one of those too. And reusable supermarket bags (including a big insulated one), bottles of water, flashlight, etc.

If the apocalypse hits I'm in reasonably good shape as long as I'm in the NX.

I also carry a blanket. It stays on the back seats for the dogs but gets used under items I carry in the back as well. I don't know about carrying manure, I think I would borrow my neighbors pickup for that.

Your dogs haven't left a manure sample for you yet? 🐶

My dog is only allowed in the cargo area. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Fortunately, no, but one did get car sick once. The blanket did it's job.

PS: Post #30, do I get a prize or something??

Maybe the prize should be a pair of eyeglasses? 👓 I don't see a Post #30 (at least not on this thread...yet)

Not post 30 on this thread, my post count reached 30. There has been a note every time I log on about needing 30 posts and 30 days for something. I'm not sure what that something is.
