My NX was built 12/14 (an early build) and I purchased it in 2/15.

So far I have had ZERO issues, It has been Lexus perfect for me.

So much for the first 6 month builds not being as good as the last 6 months.

If the size meets your needs you can't find a better CUV.

Just to be clear nobody said the new build is better than the old builds. I said they are known to fix issues as they are aware on the assembly lines. This happens with every company but Lexus is very strict especially in their Japanese plants.
The fixes - if there are any- would also be fixed at the dealer during the first services if possible. At least that's the way it was suppose to work. Not all dealers are the same.

Mine is a June build - but I would have bought a December of 14 build if the price was right.

Default Q5

Just looking at NX and assume there has been others who have already compared. I did search and nothing came up.

Thanks,,,TomMartin
Initially we were sure about buying a Q5 2.0T but looked at 6 other vehicles for the sake of comparison. The Q5 ended up being our runner-up because one of our must-haves was a rear view camera. It is standard on the NX but to get one on the Q5? You have to step up to the Premium Plus trim ($1850) and then option the Technology package ($4500).

Edit: Assuming no other options, for us the Q5 would have been $8000 more out the door than our NX.
