Hi y'all.

Its been a long time and after having a Land Rover dealership try to screw me over on an ordered 2016 Evoque that I left a deposit on over 6 months ago (very very long story), I walked into the local Lexus dealer to visit my friend.

After a very seamless and stress free experience at Lexus Downtown in Toronto from my sales Kelvin, I picked up a NX200t F Sport in Atomic Silver/ Rioja Red yesterday. I am coming from a 2012 fully loaded Range Rover Evoque.

I guess I was just sick and tired of the way I was treated at those types of dealerships, and hey, a significantly lower monthly payment works nicely as well. Other cars compared included the Macan S, but at a 6.9% leasing rate and absolutely no discount, it did not make any sense to get a car like that.

Never would I have envisioned having two Lexus' in my garage, but I guess common sense and practicality won us over this time around.

I bought my F-Sport from the same dealer a few weeks ago.

Is yours a 2015? How much did you pay OTR if you don't mind sharing?

That sucks on the Range Rover dealer, however I'm not entirely shocked. I for a short time began research on a Jag F-Type R, and 10 mins on the forums will tell you how poorly Jag/Range Rover dealers treat their customers. For a company that "believes" its luxury, that company has no idea how to work with their customers. You would figure since their cars are about as reliable as a paper bag in rain, they would treat the customer better, but they don't. Scared me away from Jag really quick. At least when you buy an unreliable Chevy (lol), you're getting what you pay for.

I surprisingly found the same thing with Nissan in regards to the GT-R. While its typically an economical brand, the GT-R is a car much above their customer base, but the dealerships treated their "potential GT-R owners/current GT-R owners" like they owned Versas. I'm sorry, but a GT-R owner shouldn't be treated like a person who owns a car 1/5th of the cost.

Just picked up the car tonight after having it detailed, tinted and some cosmetic bits wrapped.

1. New car prep for winter (wash, clay, and a light polish on problem areas)
2. 90% silica glass coating
3. Front windows tinted
4. Wrap (front grille surround, mirror chrome, black out all rear trim)
5. Tint lights (yellow fogs- will remove, tinted clear sections of rear tailights and reflectors, tinted front logo)
6. Tow hook plate (Rhoplate V2)
