Brush Bar...Anyone install one or considering one?
I'm considering installing a small, simple brush bar. I want to protect the front end and rear but I feel like it would make the car ugly.
I saw a Rav4 with brush bar and I thought it looked nice and it got me thinking about putting one on.

It wasn't so difficult for my NX. I kinda like the look. It makes it look dope. Spot lights are going to be mounted on the brush guard. Also, I'm going to put some colored underbody LED light strips and possibly some spinner rims. I'm going for the baller look.

If you drove any amount of time in NYC you would understand the need for this.
So many people drive around with those ugly rubber and I understand why. Cabs everywhere clad in black rubber bumper add-ons. Everyone is ready for war. And I'm driving around up here all naked.

You'd be surprised how ugly people in NYC make their cars just to have added protection.

But if you make the car look so hideous, wouldn't that defeat the purpose? Wouldn't it look better with dents and scratches than with these monstrosities?
I can understand the concept of protection against cosmetic damage. But if the protection itself is even uglier than the damage it's supposed to protect you against, then what's the point?

The pursuit of F
From a purely visual perspective:
4Runner and Brushbar = marriage made in heaven
NX and Brushbar =
Now in all fairness, it looks worse on the non-F Sport front-end as per NXOwner's photshopped image above. The MRM F Sport you have above is not as bad and would look less bad if it were black to hide a little more blending in with the black grille and rear lower bumper.
If you must go for it, consider a black and subtle/smaller one in design/size.
