nx200t 2016 blowoff valve or Bypass
I just change my Lexus 2015 IS250 for the new NX200t. Since it is turbo I want to hear that Pssshhhh louder. Which aftermarket Blowoff valve should I use to make it sound louder?
This is my first "Turbo" so I just want something plug and play that makes it sound good and doesn't damage the car.
Thanks

I would ask why, but to each his own.
Simple answer the engine is too new for mods. Your question would be better served with the guys in the IS or GS forum since this is they type of MOD, the aftermarket could care less about in a mini cute ute.

This car's bypass valve looks extremely integrated. Half its working portion is sitting inside the turbo housing itself, so replacing it is not an option.
I guess you could try to unplug it to disable it, then install another vacuum based non ecu controlled unit.
Or change your whole filter set up to an open pod unit so that the standard one sounds louder.
Or you could just push air through your teeth each time you take your foot off the gas.

I'm pretty sure the "raised eyebrow" is the desired result. And maybe I'm a bit too PC, but the use of "rice" in this context is a bit sketchy.

Vote your "ricer" opinion here.
But do know that many consider the term to be a pejorative: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rice_burner
