Awesome guys. I talked to Toby and he quoted me the same numbers as described above.
Also he told me 2535.00 for the 8 year 125k mile

Now all I have to do is decide which one to go with the 7 yr or 8 yr 125k

I'm glad I started this post hopefully every member on clublexus sees this thread

Seven years is a long time but eight is like forever haha

A search here would have been beneficial for you.
Amazing how dealers can make someone think they're getting a great deal on a warranty. They're pros and it happens often..
Glad you got a 'real' great price.

Went to the dealer today to check something (where I purchased my nx) and told the
Finance manager that I got a good quote on the extended warranty and he told me his cost was 2600 for the 7yr 125k. Also he told me that he can't offer me a 8yr 100/125k warranty because he doesn't have it in his book to offer.
He said the list he has is current for 2016 straight from Lexus. He showed me too

I asked him why another dealer out of state can offer longer platinum warranty
But he cannot.
He said it might be state specific.
He told me to buy it from Toby which I will.
He's a cool guy like that.

I'm assuming that because New York is known to be harder on the cars, that Lexus
Might take that into consideration when setting pricing and terms for their dealers

That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

I doubt there's a difference from state to state.
I've read discounted Lexus/Toyota warranties sold by Rivers and Dietrich and others have a dealer profit of $100-$200 on a warranty but they do volume sales nationwide which adds up .
Only takes a few minutes for the sale and a postage stamp.
Local dealers won't give you the Rivers number because they have to add sales tax.For me,the $1515 would have cost another $106 in sales tax they would have to eat.

Your not understanding my last post.
I said that Lexus didn't give him an option to sell any 8 year warranties.
Only 7 year plans.

He told me himself it might have something to do with the area.
As stated above.
