A quick update, I drove about 250km today (averaging 150km/h). Here are some pics of the bug damage. The front bumper had its fair share but the bonnet only had a couple.







Most importantly, I'm glad I didn't get any pebble chips.

Final update

I'd say the deflector did its job on the return journey, only two bugs on the hood while the rest of the car, including the windscreen saw most of the action. Thankfully, my hood is chip-free. Everything is still secure, my top speed was about 100mph, averaging around 90-95mph.

I'm going to remove it and keep it in storage until the next road trip. Hope my short review helps!
