I think you should ask your advisor. My dealer which located in bay area California. they are using the soft brush for car washing which it is different than the one we see in gas station. it will be a little safer but not 100% not gonna damage it since nothing is safe to say. However you want to be safe, maybe you can just say no car wash and find some other good car wash place.

The dealer I take my car to service at provides hand car wash to cars being serviced. Automatic wash is only used for loaners.
